If Funk and Disco Classics from the ’70s onwards are your bag and you want the dancefloor full all evening, these are the guys for you. You can feel that special HeadSpin energy as soon as the band open up into their first few riffs. Funky bass guitar and feisty, well-placed drums make the rhythm bedtrack fairly jump along, all tastefully overlaid with stylish lead guitar and keyboards providing harmonic depth and texture.
“Infectious enthusiasm and boundless energy – HeadSpin will have your guests heading for the dancefloor in no time…”
Versatile young vocalist Teresa is equally comfortable singing the tried-and-tested older classics as she is with more recent Disco standards. Saxophone and trumpet complete the seven-piece line-up, but for a really fat Funk sound, they can augment to an eight-piece with trombone.
With a high-quality PA system and lighting rigs for both the stage and dancefloor, HeadSpin will look after all aspects of the performance with great attention to detail, making sure that your party goes with a real swing. The talented musicians all perform with verve, and in a distinctive signature style which will instantly connect with and energise the crowd – HeadSpin is a sure-fire recipe for a pulsating night’s entertainment!
- Disco favourites from the ’70s onwards, plus tried-and-tested all-time classics
- Seven or eight-piece line-up depending on your requirements

Kev’s Gig –
A top night was had by all at The Soul Cellar on Saturday. Thought the band were fantastic – have consequently put all of my funk and disco CDs in the car so that the traffic jams on the way home are a bit more enjoyable. Worryingly, my girlfriend wants to book the band for our wedding, which until Saturday night, I didn’t know about!
Gareth’s Birthday Party –
A massive thank you for playing at my 30th birthday party. You were amazing. Headspin made the party a complete success. All of my guests commented to me how good you were.
Rob’s Wedding –
I’m back from my honeymoon and I just want to thank you and the rest of Headspin for an excellent performance. You really did make the night superb and everybody has said to me how excellent they thought you all were. I actually think you do Love Rollercoaster better than the original! Thanks again, and I hope you all had a good journey back.
Phil’s Annual Conference –
A short note to thank you for your fantastic performance at our recent annual conference. I’ve been to a number of these events over the years and you were, without a doubt, the best band to have played at any that I’ve attended. The band was superb, your choice of songs managed to include many people’s favourite tracks and your lead singer led the whole thing beautifully. We will certainly look to use you again in the future. Thanks again for making a good evening into a great one.
Julie & Russell –
I knew having a band play at our wedding reception would be good, but the atmosphere HeadSpin created was amazing. Their set list was perfect for all ages and got everyone up on the dance floor. They were true professionals and my guests were full of praise. A huge thank-you for finishing off our day with a great party!
Emily –
We were so, so impressed and I absolutely loved the set list – if I was to have chosen which song I would have liked you to start with, I would have said Superstition every time, it was awesome! My husband said to me the next day: ‘The band were so great, everyone commented on how good they were – I think they were my favourite part of the wedding…’ I’m sure a close second to marrying me of course – however I have to agree with him so I can’t be cross!
