Reviews

  1. Mr Ted Nunn

All delivered with confidence and style, a memorable evening of stylish singing.

  2. John Palfreyman

The Opus One Swing band certainly knows what its audience likes: swinging standards as as we used to get with bands of the past – Basie, Ellington and Glenn Miller played and sung by musicians who know their stuff and enjoy playing good music. My favourite was Tangerine – reminding me of my past mis-spent youth listening to the Four Freshmen in their prime!

  3. Joy, Teddy and Babs – Attendees

A great man who leads a great band.

  4. John Tucker

On a beautiful sunny afternoon in October a small group of us dragged ourselves away from a champagne reception to listen to Opus One Swing Band playing in Westbury….. and it was well worth it. The band was classy and featured two very good singers. The sound was excellent and the repertoire varied. The band clearly enjoyed playing together and we certainly enjoyed listening. A brilliant way to round off a late summer day.

  5. Robin & Collette

Highly professional from first contact to finish.

  6. Alan Boynton’s Party

The excitement and drive blow away the competition, we’ve had some phenomenal nights with them, audience jumping, band jumping, fantastic!

  7. Jacqui Monckton’s Concert

What a great afternoon concert we were treated to in October, listening to a wide range of music played by excellent, versatile musicians. From Count Basie to the Beatles, all the numbers were such a treat played with real swing and power. What talented singers too, who were able to communicate their enjoyment to the audience. I look forward to many more opportunities to listen the the Opus One Swing band. Highly recommended.
