Make no bones about it, The Piccadilly Dance Orchestra serves up a veritable musical feast. From  ‘The Charleston’ and ‘Puttin’ On The Ritz’ right through to Glenn Miller’s iconic ‘In The Mood’, the orchestra will deliver all the smash hits of the Jazz Age as if they were freshly minted.

“The cream of Jazz, Swing, Dance and Big Band Hits from the ’20s to the ’40s – you’ll be dancing ’til dawn!”

The Piccadilly Dance Orchestra presents the greatest dance music and the best tunes of the Jazz Age. With stunning male and female vocals sitting on top of superb Big Band arrangements, you can look forward to an eye-catching, authoritative performance of convincing authenticity.

Playing the iconic music of the silver-screen soundtrack, this superb twelve-piece band brings the heady atmosphere of the ’20s,’30s and ’40s vividly to life before your eyes.  Expect to be whisked back to a glamorously suave and chic age of romance – you’ll be dancing on air all night!

It’s no surprise that the orchestra has played for the highly successful ‘Stompin’ At The Savoy’ party nights, held regularly at The Savoy Hotel, London, and has appeared at the legendary Café de Paris. Performance highlights from a whole host of prestigious and high-profile appearances include performing for Earl Spencer’s 30th birthday party a few years back, where Princess Diana asked the band to play ‘In The Mood’ – twice!

You are cordially invited to enter into the magical world of nostalgia, full of glamorous style and elegance, with The Piccadilly Dance Orchestra.

  1. South Bank Centre

Thank you so much for making the Tea Dance such a special event again! Everyone was most complimentary – it was a most enjoyable event, all down to you and the band again!

  2. Chairman of The Friends of the Theatre Royal, Margate

On behalf of the Friends of the Theatre Royal, I would like to thank The Piccadilly Dance Orchestra for a great evening. The theatre was “jumpin” and from the feedback I’ve received, people felt ‘inspired and uplifted’.

  3. Mike Pignon – Patron

This was possibly the most entertaining evening I can remember in my long association with the Stables, having been a patron since it first opened in the original Stable. The orchestra is really superb and I am surprised it does not have much radio air play.
