The PJ Party Band is usually a five-piece outfit. The delectable Laura captures the limelight from the start of proceedings with her vocal skill and dynamic, energetic stage-presence. She’s ably supported by the guys in the backline, supplying a solid rhythmic bedtrack and harmonic framework of keyboards, guitar, bass and drums, all topped off with fills and riffs from saxophone to complete the sound.
Feel-good all-time party classics interspersed with eminently danceable funk and soul, and rounded off with an excellent selection of stylish jazz and swing numbers, are all included in their versatile repertoire. With over a decade’s experience travelling round the world entertaining on cruise liners, you can be sure these guys have all the necessary expertise to fill the dancefloor and generate and maintain a brilliant party atmosphere.
If the budget is tight or the audience intimate, the band can perform as a four-piece. Conversely, for larger events in larger venues, they readily augment to a six-piece with an additional female singer.
