Looking for that little extra ‘je ne sais quoi’ to spice up a garden party? What could be better than an attractive mixture of well-known jazz, blues and other popular tunes performed in traditional New Orleans style. The guys also have an excellent Christmas repertoire of popular Christmas songs and carols. Swapping straw boaters for Santa hats, the guys give a carnival style twist to Christmas entertainment – a perfect option for Christmas markets and Christmas parties.
“Al Fresco Trad Jazz Band makes the party swing in fine New Orleans marching style!”
Al Fresco Trad Jazz Band performs mighty fine renditions of all those toe-tapping Dixieland and Trad Jazz Classics. Straw boaters, striped blazers and bow-ties complete the picture – it’s an iconic garden party treat. The band is quite at home on a bandstand or under an awning at a garden fête. Even a strolling serenade is decidedly not out of the question, as these guys are truly authentic ‘wandering minstrels’!

Karen Raingold – Kingston May Day Parade –
Al Fresco Trad Jazz Band led our May Day procession in great style. The band were friendly and professional and their wonderful playing really got the crowd into the spirit of the event.

Martin, what a show you put on! Thank you very much for getting all our guests into a real party spirit on Saturday. They all loved the music and your big Sousaphone in particular. Many of the younger element had not seen one before, but they all enjoyed your very happy repertoire. We had a very good day, and the party went really well. Thank you again for coming to start it off.
Alison & Colin –
A very quick email before we dash off on honeymoon to say thank you for your lovely playing on Tuesday. It was a bit unlucky with the weather but you managed to keep everyone cheerful – we have had a lot of lovely comments about the music!
Jaymie –
Just a quick note to say thank you so much for playing at our wedding earlier this month. You were fantastic, and everybody commented on how you matched the venue’s spirit perfectly. I hope you enjoyed yourselves as well, despite the patchy weather! I would have no hesitation in recommending Al Fresco Jazz to family, friends and colleagues, and I wish you and the band all the best for the future.
James –
Many, many thanks for playing at my father’s funeral. It was superb and my father would have thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you so much again and kind regards.
Jenny Brewis –
I just wanted to say thank you to you and the other band members for an excellent evening last Saturday. I think you hit just the right note – literally – for the event and everyone seems to have enjoyed themselves as we’ve had some good comments. Lord Montagu’s son, Ralph Montagu, particularly mentioned that he had enjoyed your music.
Nick Warner –
Just to say they were great at our daughter’s wedding 2 weeks ago. Their music was just right in terms of liveliness and style and could be heard without being intrusive. Lots of people commented how good they were. They were prompt, looked after themselves and played some really good music.
