All Stars Trad Jazz

Return to Previous Page

Dressed in the best New Orleans Dixieland style, heralding the jazz boom of the ’20s and ’30s with a complementary repertoire and a flexibility that allows for anything from stylish background music or a strolling serenade at an outdoor drinks reception to a full six-piece ensemble keeping the dancefloor full, the youthful members of All Stars Trad Jazz are a prized novelty for any wedding, vintage-themed corporate or family event.

“Trad Jazz in its most faithful form, without the need for amps or electronics…”

Demonstrating an impressive variety of sound across their ensemble, the band’s diverse musical arsenal features a choice of traditional topline melodic instruments such as clarinet, trumpet or saxophone, guided by the rhythmic harmonies of acoustic guitar or banjo, ideal for your drinks reception. Alternatively, with the full band you gain the depth and texture of additional strings and brass, including trombone and sousaphone or tuba. Whatever the volume or style of music you’re looking for from your vintage jazz band, these fine gentlemen will provide it, and then some.

With the capacity to generate well-balanced and far-reaching sound without the need for electrical amplification, The All Stars Trad Jazz Band’s flexibility goes beyond their variety of instruments, readily capable of providing anything from static stage performances to wandering serenades at your wedding reception, garden party or community event. As well as wedding celebrations and private parties too numerous to mention, the group can boast an impressive history of public performances ranging from traditional jazz clubs to sporting events, festivals and flower-shows.

Whatever the venue or the occasion, The All Stars Trad Jazz Band provide the ideal music, conjuring up the perfect atmosphere for your event.

Versatile vintage jazz band, performing signature Dixieland standards in true ’20s fashion

I wanted to say a HUGE thanks for playing at the wedding. The ceremony music was exactly how we hoped it would be and the reception tunes were spot on.
