Clarinet and trumpet share the top-line, joined occasionally by tenor saxophone and lighthearted vocals set the mood, and several decades of combined experience underpin the performance. Their toe-tapping sound is driven along by a tight rhythm section comprising double-bass and percussion, and when they swing into gear, The Devon All-Star Jazz Band really steps out in spectacular style!

Their repertoire is filled to overflowing with iconic all-time genre classics such as ‘Ain’t No Sunshine’, ‘Girl From Ipanema’, ‘I’ve Got You Under My Skin’, ‘Georgia’ and ‘Wonderful World’. You can choose all of your favourite swing numbers from the band’s seemingly never-ending playlist.
An acoustic line up is available for processions, funerals and outdoor events. The Devon All-Star Jazz Band pays careful attention to all the little details that make a performance extra-special, and although they frequently perform completely acoustically without amplification, when necessary they can bring along their brilliant PA system to suit venues of any size.
