Joanna is a classically trained free-lance musician with concert orchestra and T.V experience. Working with a high quality, innovative five-string electric violin that has a range covering that of both the acoustic viola and the violin and using specially prepared backing-tracks, Joanna is able to present a huge range of music, including classical gems and pop, jazz and Bollywood standards.
Every performance is unique and Joanna consults closely with each couple to create a performance that reflects their particular style and character. If the repertoire still doesn’t cover the song you want, then given enough notice an arrangement can be compiled just for you by an artist who really understands that every event is unique.
Joanna can either perform the music on an acoustic violin with a pick-up or on her electric violin. Please specify which you prefer. She uses a small high-quality PA system which can be powered by battery, so access to electric power is not an essential requirement for the performance.
