The New Orleans Brass Band is a 5 to 7-piece marching band, inspired as the name would suggest by the iconic tradition of American Dixieland culture with it’s Mardi Gras celebrations, parades and street bands. Lead by clarinet and trumpet, with banjo or sousaphone or tuba, the band can perform all the Trad Jazz classics while leading a procession. For larger events, trombone, sax and an additional trumpet can be added.
“Dixieland to Trad Jazz with style and panache, authentic and dynamic.”
The New Orleans Brass Band is equally at home leading a carnival parade or providing a strolling ensemble to perform out of doors for a wedding drinks reception. It’s the perfect way to create a light-hearted party atmosphere at weddings, private parties and corporate events.
Introduce the happy-go-lucky spirit of Mardi Gras to your special celebration with The New Orleans Brass Marching Band.

Cunard Ship Launch: May 2017 – Queen Mary Dock, Southampton
Thank you – Graham and the other musicians were great to work with. Lots of the guests commented on how much they enjoyed the music, which created a wonderful atmosphere in the terminal building. We especially appreciated their flexibility with timings and accommodating our last minute schedule changes.

Burger and Lobster Restaurant Opening: June 2016
The strolling performance by the New Orleans Trad Jazz Marching Band was exactly what was required to announce the opening of the new Burger and Lobster restaurant at West India Dock. Thank you very much, guys!

Your stamina was astounding and you won the crowd over within the first couple songs. The band’s playful spirit and riotous tunes were too much for even the most reserved punters to resist and before long the whole room was a kaleidoscope of joyous dancing movement.
Pride March – London –
An amazing performance on Saturday. The combination of heat and walking for 2 hours, I was so so impressed. The standard of the music was astounding, and you really did give us an event to remember.
