Meet Tommy Dempsey. Over the last half a century or so, Tommy has been entertaining audiences both far and wide with his steady stream of evocative songs, some traditional, others with a more modern flavour, all delivered with charming patter, lightning wit … and lots of great tunes.

Tommy has gathered together a group of highly-experienced multi-instrumentalists to perform for you. Tommy’s Ceilidh Crew play an infectious mix of jigs, reels, polkas and hornpipes drawn from the endless repertoire of the Irish and Celtic tradition, presented with verve and enthusiasm.

The band brings an experienced ceilidh-caller to organise high-energy dancing for all ages, coming down onto the floor to describe and demonstrate the steps and moves for each new dance. And when the dancers take a well-earned break from time to time, all of those traditional tried-and-tested favourite singalong Irish songs are also included in their playlist – plus many, many more from Tommy’s inexhaustible repertoire.

The band always pay careful attention to all aspects of their performance, and come equipped as standard with a high-spec sound-system that produces crystal-clear sound in any venue. All you need to do is grab a pint (or three) of the black stuff, get on your feet and jig the night away!
